Lightning Werewolf Ninjas
The Deities of Lakorthuss are separated into three categories; Major Deities, they are powerful and have influence or are worshiped over a large part of the continent; Minor Deities, have fewer worshipers over smaller areas or powerful influence over local terrain; and Local Deities who have two or more areas, villages, towns, cities where they keep under their control and or protection and may or may not be known to the world outside their areas.
Solarian, Lion of the Sun; Giver of Life, Light, and Fire, Bringer of the Day; the deity usually associated with the day, sun, fire, and summer, he is usually depicted as a Golden Lion either as Anthro or Feral. His Domains are Community, Fire, Good, Healing, Law, Protection, Sun, and War. Worshipers are Lawful beings, those dealing with agriculture, soldiers, healers, and city dwellers.
Aerialius, Wind Lord, Cloud Father. Aerialius rules over the skies and wind. He is depicted as many creatures in as many lands, usually with wings of as many varieties, from near visible insect to large pairs of feather wings. His Domains: Air, Chaos, Liberation, Weather.
Narayana, Lady of the Waters; is Goddess of the oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, and puddles. She is happily worshiped and thanked by farmers and sailors and any other being whose livelihood depends upon or is near a large enough body of water. Domains: Chaos, Good, Healing, Travel, and Water.
Earth Lord; Mover of the Land, World’s Foundation; Domains: Earth, Law, Strength, Plant, Protection,
Typhonus, Storm Lord, Bringer of Destruction; son of Aerialius and Narayana, he controls the weather and rides the lightning. He’s depicted as a wolf shaped dark cloud with lightning for claws and thunder for a voice. Domains: Air, Chaos, Destruction, Luck, Protection, Travel, Water, and Weather. His worshipers are sometimes slightly mad (from non-worshipers viewpoint they are at least always slightly mad). They prefer areas of the world where weather is ever-changing and wild. Farmers and sailors don’t worship him, but do give homage to him in the hopes they will not find themselves under his sometimes violent notice.
Darana, Lady of Mysteries, Secrets, and Magic (Forbidden and Known); She knows and keeps all secrets whispered under a starry sky. She is depicted as a black panther with wings of stars and feathers. Domains: Artifice, Darkness, Knowledge, Magic, Rune, and Trickery. The careful keeping of Knowledge is Darana’s worshipers’ goal. They are rumored to have hidden and vast libraries scattered all over the continent holding all the lost knowledge of the ages. If this is so, it is one secret they are certainly keeping to themselves. They will give knowledge to individuals they deem worthy of using it and will take from those who they believe would use their knowledge for cruel and destructive purposes.
Wood God, Domains: Plant
Deltar, The Undying; Symbol is a Ruby Gauntlet. Mortal beings refuse to discuss him due to the fear that the saying of his name or speaking of him invites his attention. Domains: Chaos, Darkness, Death, Destruction, Evil, and Madness.
Kestra, Lady of the Silver Moon and Healing; Daughter of Solarian and Darana. She is depicted as a silver furred fox and her clerics and priests travel and give aid to all who are in need, good or evil, rich or poor, kind or cruel. Her followers are non-combative and do not carry weapons or use destructive magics to defend themselves. That duty is handled by others. Capable and hidden, they keep Kestra’s clergy safe. Some rumors say the protectors are followers of Kestra’s unknown brother, who is associated with the large blood red crater on the moon. Others, who may be wiser, or more foolish, claim the protectors are followers of The Hunter. Kestra’s Domains: Good, Healing, Protection, Repose.
The Hunter, (as the Title states); The Hunters is The Hunter. The Hunter does have or need a name, worshipers say that to give The Hunter one would diminish and/or restrict The Hunter, and if they become aware of non-worshipers giving The Hunter a name they will take it upon themselves to discourage the individuals from continuing. Each worshiper has a different and personal image of The Hunter which they will not discuss with non-worshipers. The Hunter may be Male, Female, both, neither, or an ever changing combination. Domains: Animal, Chaos, Liberation, Luck, Plant, Repose.
